Bio
Tyler Jones is a board-certified, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He integrates embodiment into medication management and psycho-education for children, adolescents, and adults to age 65.
His goal is to use medications in tandem with behavior changes and psychotherapy to help people manage their mental health concerns. His approach aims to empower patients in their own care. Generally, he is conservative with controlled medications and weighs the risks and benefits with every treatment option.
As a registered nurse, Tyler has worked in the emergency department and in eating disorder care. His last five years as an RN has primarily been focused on the pediatric population and family-based care. He has experience as an interdisciplinary team member and can coordinate care with therapists, dietitians, and medical providers. He is a current Doctor of Nursing Practice student and is interested in incorporating the findings from research into direct patient care.
