Bio
Ann is a board-certified Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist with prescriptive authority in Colorado. She has worked as a nurse and as an advanced practice nurse in Colorado for over 30 years. Prior to joining Alder Grove, Ann has worked in diverse settings including inpatient and outpatient mental health, crisis stabilization, walk-in MH care, skilled nursing, assisted living and memory care facilities as well as home-based services and hospice.
Her ongoing areas of interest are cognitive problems including memory and attention/concentration issues in combination with mood or anxiety problems. Ann incorporates mindfulness into her work, and draws from many psychotherapeutic approaches to help clients meet the complexities of life, work, and relationships.
