Bio

Kari Green is dual-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Kari has prescriptive authority and treats children, adolescents, and adults. Kari is versed in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and lifestyle treatment options and utilizes a holistic and individualized approach. Kari is passionate about uncovering and treating root causes of mental health and addiction issues (e.g. intestinal bacteria/yeast overgrowth, vitamin/mineral/micronutrient imbalances, mold/toxin exposure, etc.). Kari is also dedicated to supporting people in recovery from substance use and utilizes medication-assisted treatment (MAT), when appropriate. Kari also offers tele-health services, where clients can do virtual appointments from the comfort of their own home.

Kari graduated from the University of Alaska, Anchorage with a Masters of Science in Nursing and obtained a Post Master’s Certificate in Psychiatry from Washburn University. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Kari worked as a Registered Nurse for over a decade. Her work experience includes floating to a variety of departments in the hospital setting, in-patient adolescent and adult psychiatry, pediatric home health, hospice, and school nursing.

In her free time, Kari enjoys hiking, skiing, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and two cats.
