Bio
He enjoys working with adults who have Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD and ADHD). He finds these patients are typically very bright, hardworking and often frustrated in work, school, and/ or relationships. Often when ADHD is treated, anxiety, depression, and even sleep can improve.
Brent believes treating ADHD should be individualized and accompanied by a lot of explanation/ education. He assesses and addresses concerns regarding medical issues, other possible mental health issues, and levels of alcohol, and cannabis use before beginning treatment.
He is a board-certified clinical nurse specialist and has been prescribing medications for the past 25 years.
